FD/EMS From Brad Benard:
We had two calls, on the same day
actually. One was way on the west end of our area over by Pete’s
Lake. Our brush truck 381 started having issues at the parade. The
dash lights and gauges started going “screwy” scheduled and
appointment with up tire to have it looked at. I’ll keep the board
apprised of the situation. As far as the quote for a new building,
we were waiting on the last few prices for some small things.
However, when I found out it would be a couple years at least, I
dialed back my efforts to obtain prices. My thinking was that prices
would change in a couple years and I wanted the most accurate price
I could get. If the board just wants a ballpark number, I can get a
speculative price. This is something I’d really like to see happen,
but I feel we are getting ahead of ourselves. I believe we first
should agree on a location for the building since we cannot build
over the old one because our vehicles cannot stay outside. I’m not
sure if that’s something we can sit down and discuss outside of a
meeting or not. If we can I’ll be more than happy to sit down on a
weekend for a bit and talk. Lastly, I was wondering if we could get
our lines and writing on the pavement in front of our hall
re-painted. They are worn quite extensively and I’m not sure the
last time it was done. End of Brads Report.
*K. Silkworth finding out about Parking

For the third month in a row. I’m waiting
for a green light to bring the ambulance to bay view and get the
turbo replaced. And waiting on if the McKesson account is opened
back up. Inspection is second in August so supplies will need to be
ordered shortly. Thank you. End of Ryans Report.
*Need to find different company other
then McKesson to order supplies through as they want to take it
directly out of township checking account
