Thomas Kitzman - On September 8, 2022, Renata Kitzman told the courts that Tom had died, the judge gave Renata (1) week to provide the court with a death certificate, approximately (3) weeks later, Supervisor Kelly Silkworth contacted the court system to see if they had obtained a death certificate, they had not and she was also told, "the judge had closed the case due to Tom's death". The township will not be able to get reimbursed for the lost assessment cards. Inwood Township will have to pay Dylan Jurasin $1,500 for missing cards.
_

Cemetery Road Paving- discussed possible options, not paving at this time
_

ARPA Funds- ordering automatic paper towel dispenser, soap dispensers and getting an estimate for an air infiltration system for the furnace at the Townhall. Filtration can be part of a plan to reduce the potential for airborne transmission of COVID-19 indoors.
_

QVF update- not required to be a deputy to access the QVF Program per Qualified Voter File

New Business

Bill Anderson Internet update: thinks it is a bad idea to sign any contract with HighLine internet as they are higher in cost then Marq6. Would like Marq6 to move forward with getting tower in Cooks.

FD/EMS

Corn Roast raised $41,000.

One mutual aid call for Nahma. We also assisted EMS on two of their calls. Belfor was a huge success. We got a lot of new stuff and were able to outfit the rest of the departments in the county. Side by side is being worked on at race driven. It has some electrical issues.

EMS-We have had three runs; car vs deer non transport, fall with transport, unresponsive person. Tri-Star called but they asked for our assistance. CPR was performed successfully by Inwood medics and Manistique EMS, patient is home doing well.

Public comment

Rhonda and John Schneider are concerned that they didn’t get their ballot after sending back their application. After speaking to Manistique Post office, mail cannot be forwarded if it is missing the letter. The QVF system doesn’t acknowledge the letter consistently and QVF claims they are working on the issue

Payment of Outstanding Bills

Township deposits in the amount of $2,718.94. Payments in the amount of $7,236.05
