Meeting was called to order at 7 P.M. by Supervisor Kelly Silkworth.

Board members present: Bonnie Elliott, Bryan Landis, Sherry Boudreau, Robin Double, Kelly Silkworth

Old Business

Request for Grant of Franchise to Cloverland Electric Cooperative. Cloverland Electric wants a signed contract for continued access as in the past under Edison Sault Electric. Inwood township grants Cloverland electric Cooperative access under Ordinance 2022-A.  Motion B. Landis, Support S. Boudreau, AIF M/C

Assessor cards- Schoolcraft County Sheriff went to Thomas Kitzmans house and he claims that the cards were at the Inwood Township Hall. Inwood Township is moving forward with certified letter with the assistance of Dylan for monetary expense numbers. Contacting MTA about legal laws and lawyers. Motion B. Elliott, Support B. New Business

S Boudreau recommends putting some money into a CD. FDIC protects your money up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category. Tabled

Spring Cleanup will be held from Monday May 23rd through Saturday May 28th until noon. Township will pay for up to 600 pounds of trash and $10.00 for mattresses and TVs. Motion B. Elliott, Support B. Landis AIF M/C

Schoolcraft County Road Commission to gravel and build up the cemetery road from County rd. 442 to the tree line past the cemetery on Cemetery Road. Estimated cost is between $65,000 and $85,000. Funds will come out of the 2022 budget.  Motion K. Silkworth, Support B. Landis AIF M/C

Chloride for dust control contract. There is a 3% overall cost increase for the chloride in 2022. Sign contract to chloride roads as in the past with the whole road application. Motion B. Landis, Support R. Double, AIF M/C

Payment of Outstanding Bills

Mowing for 2022- Accept Jean Andersons bid as the groundkeeper of the Hall, baseball field, fire department and cemeteries. The prices are the same from 2021 with an increase of $5.00 each property until gas prices fall below $4.00 per gallon. Motion B. Landis, Support S. Boudreau, AIF M/C
