Meeting was called to order at 7 P.M. by Clerk Robin Double.

New Business
Deputy Sherriff Charles Willour presented the millage proposal for
the November 3rd Election. There are 2 separate proposals, one for a
new building, one to pay for the monthly bills. They have to both
pass to build a new jail.
Daniel Lance from Marc6 Broadband wants to put up an 8 ft tower by
baseball field. It will be fenced in and camera installed. It will
be paid for by state funding and give free internet to Fire Hall and
Township Hall. Will include 3 year agreement. Moving forward until
we receive contract. Motion B. Landis, Support R. Double AIF M/C
Cemetery discussion tabled
Dylan Jurasin wants to be a 1099 employee and doesn’t want to be
W-2. Most assessors are paid this way for assessing, if we chose to
take out taxes then we will have to negotiate his contract. Motion

Bought a UTV and trailer and need Township to take care of insurance
EMS class starts October 8, Students are Brad Benard, Dani Lea,
Danielle Ylinen, Ryan Knoph. Cost is $1300.00 with a possibility of
$1,000.00 in scholarships. $200.00 for books and a complete physical
are also required. Wants Township to pay it. Motion B. Landis,

Start thinking about a new fire hall, going to get some estimates
and come up with a five year plan.
