Inwood Township Meeting Minutes

Pledge of allegiance was said
Meeting was called to order at 7 P.M. by Supervisor Kelly Silkworth.
Board members present:
Cindy Watchorn, Bonnie Elliot, Bryan Landis, Kelly Silkworth, with
Sara Roberts absent.
Acceptance of previous meeting minutes from January as presented by
Clerk Sara Roberts – will be approved at March’s meeting after
changes are made. Motion B.

Accepted the financial report as presented by Treasurer. Motion B.

Old Business
Yooper Wine & Spirits. They will not be manufacturing the wine, only
tasting, along with sales of beer and liquor. They will only have
two part time employees. Bonnie is concerned with the location of
the business, with possible accidents on the highway. She also
stated that there are already three liquor stores within a five-mile
radius. Kelly stated that there has never been an accident in front
of the business since it has opened. There is going to be more
interest in the beer and liquor sales than wine tasting and that the
owners are just looking to save their business. Motion to accept
license for Yooper Wine & Spirits B. Landis Support C. Watchorn B.

New Business
Meeting date for March 20, 2019 to be moved to March 18, 2019 with
date change advertised in the paper. Motion B. Landis Support B.

Township to adopt resolution for salaries and township prices from

WIFI to be installed down at the hall. Motion B. Landis Support B.

F.D. – has not received a call back on ice buildup on the roof.

amount of $20,555.26.
