Meeting was called to order at 7 P.M. by Kelly Silkworth Supervisor.
Board members present:
Cindy Watchorn, Kelly Silkworth, Bryan Landis, Bonnie Elliot and
Sara Roberts
Accepted previous meeting minutes as presented by Clerk. Motion B.

Accepted the financial report as presented by treasurer. Motion S.

Old Business
-Cemetery – Meeting to be held after the holidays to match all
existing paperwork. Hoping to be ready for spring. TABLED
New Business
-Jean Frankovich from Road Commission spoke about Senate Bill 396.
This bill deals with road restrictions. Wanting the board to take a
roll call to oppose the bill, and support it being rewritten. Road
Commission just wants to help preserve roads better from bigger
trucks, logging companies, etc. Jean does not have a time frame on
acquiring an answer.
Roll call - 5 YAYS - 0 NAYS
-Advent Road sign and stop sign were cut down. Ordering new signs
and to be billed to Inwood Township.
-Inwood Township audit has been approved.
-DesJarden’s snow plowing pricing has not changed from last year.
Board will accept their bid as long as they push the snow back
further. Motion K. Silkworth Support C. Watchorn AIF M/C
FD/EMS
-Kelly contacted Becky Knoph on F.D. finances. They currently have
$1,918.31 in checking and $62,257.40 in savings. Last year they
netted $19,210.00
-EMS - absent
Correspondence
-Big Bay de Noc Class of 2019 looking for donations for their senior
over night party. Motion to donate $100 B. Landis Support C.
Watchorn AIF M/C
-Little Bear Ice Skating season has begun. Current balance is $220.

-Steve Schmeck sent an article about green burials. Kelly to check
with funeral home on more details.
Public Comment
-Public comment is for comments only. If individuals want to speak
and get answers they must ask to be put on the agenda.
-Dog/Noise ordinance – things have gotten better. Dogs will bark at
feeding or hunting time. Board has asked to give it until spring to
show more improvement.

Payment of Outstanding Bills
Payments made in the amount of $24,868.04 and deposits in the amount
of $12,692.30

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:57pm was made by C. Watchorn

Others present for the regular meeting at the Inwood Township hall
