Meeting was called
to order at 7 P.M. by Kelly Silkworth Supervisor.
Board members
present: Cindy Watchorn,
Kelly Silkworth, Bryan Landis, Sara Roberts, and Bonnie Elliot
Accepted previous
meeting minutes as presented by clerk. Motion B. Landis Support B.

Accepted the
financial report as presented by treasurer. Motion S. Roberts

Old Business
-Cloverland
installed new LED light for the end of the driveway at new hall.
New Business
-New contract has
been signed with road commission to do liquid chloride
-Demo for old hall
scheduled for July 5th, 2017. All permits signed.
Demolition permit has been sent in.
-Hoholik
Enterprise working on getting water to the Fire Hall. Holding tank
to be moved during demo of old hall. Fire Hall will be without water
during this process. Tanks will be put in the furnace room or one of
the bathrooms. They will have to break pavement and run new lines.
Quoted at approximately $3,600.
-Payment of $200
for buoy removal and placement has been sent out. Good for the year.
-Liquid chloride
brine to be put out on July 23, 2017 – takes about three hours.
Township is sticking with current company. They lowered the price by
two cents.
-Ridge Road off
Thunder Lake Rd has been having issues. Trespassing, signs stolen,
etc. Talk about changing the mail boxes to the end of the driveway
onto Thunder Lake Rd and putting up private sign. TABLED
-August 16th,
2017 meeting to be moved to August 21, 2017. Motion S. Roberts

-DesJardens to
grade parking lot. Will be paved when Bacco moves into the area on
other jobs. Hoping for first week in July.
-New sign for the
hall will be done June 24, 2017 and to be hung that day.
FD/EMS
-F.D. – nothing
-EMS – Brought up
the fact that the Township should start running background checks on
employees/volunteers. New policy will need to be made up in order to
do so. TABLED

-Road commission
members introduced. Some discussion on chloride flake.
Payment of Outstanding Bills
Payments made in
the amount of $63,167.85 and deposits in the amount of $14,723.88.
