Pledge of allegiance was said
Meeting was called to order at 7 P.M. By Kelly Silkworth Supervisor
Board Members present : Kelly Silkworth, Cindy Watchorn, Bryan Landis, Bruce Spaulding,
and Kelli Stapleton, Deputy Clerk
Absent: Tammy Rochefort, Clerk

Accepted previous meeting minutes as presented by clerk. Motion B. Landis Support B.

Accepted the financial report as presented by treasurer. Motion B. Spaulding Support B.

Old Business
Spring clean up scheduled for May 9th thru 14th with a 600 lb limit. Motion C. Watchorn
Support B. Landis AIF M/C

New Business
Town hall plans: It was brought up to change the doors on storage area to accordion style
doors. This would allow this space to be used for storage as well as a place for a band to set
up. Travis called wanting to do cathedral ceilings with spiral duct work with no change in the
cost because Hoholiks are concerned about having space issues with a flat ceiling and it will
be more difficult for the mechanical work. He is also going to add a header and doors on the
right side and stay within budget. Motion C. Watchorn Support B. Landis AIF M/C
We will be borrowing $321,000 over 8 years at an interest rate of 2.87 % with total interest
paid of $13,733.04. Our payments will be $41,841.63 per year, with our first payment due
June 1, 2017.
Tri County Fire department sent Thank You to the township for the $2,000 we gave them for
helping to cover our outer areas. They also asked for the $2,000 this year for this coverage. It
was agreed to do this. Motion C. Watchorn Support B. Landis AIF M/C
Wind mill meeting proposal: We can not have elected officials meet as a sub committee as
this is a violation unless it is published. Inwood Township as no zoning for them, as this is
done thru the county. Inwood Township cannot change the zoning.
Budget for 2016-2017 was approved as presented. Motion C. Watchorn Support B. Landis

Cemetery Signs will be put out this weekend.
BOR update: We had 9 veteran exempts totaling a $400,000 write off of assessed value. The
state allows a buffer as this is going to put us in the negative. There is a $150,000 buffer if this
is not approved we will have to make up the difference.
The pavilion needs some repairs. Tabled.

FD/EMS
Cindy wants to set up an account with Shell for fuel for FD and EMS.
Cindy Watchorn will fill out paperwork for them with the bank information on it and get it to
Cindy Swayer to get to Accumed.
Point and Pay account that works with Accumed. Tabled

Correspondence
Clear kill pest control sent info on pest control. Will not be needed with new hall being built.

Payment of Outstanding Bills
Payments of $9,216.43 and deposits of $64,693.57 leaving a balance of $410,545.63. Motion
